Man, that movie makes me fall asleep every time I try and watch it. (My most eagerly anticipated movie for the year, because they have the ads running everywhere, is Spiderman-3. Rick seems to be a big fan of the franchise, although I've always disliked something about it on a visceral level (I prefer Batman's darker side), I can't wait to see what Raimi's done this time around.) MAY ALL YOUR UPS AND DOWNS BE UNDER THE SHEETS

It's just that's where it falls compared to everything else. Oh Brother Where Art Thou was alright, but I like other Cohn Bros. movies better. In fact, I think I like all of their movies that I've seen better (Fargo, Big Lebowski, Hudsucker Proxy, etc.) With Oh Brother, I think everyone had hyped it so much that when I saw it years later, it was difficult to be impressed. In the Machine "I'm a visionary, you need to listen to my advice more." -Northernboy

Posts: 48 (05/06/07 10:30:48) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Ooooh, The Hudsucker Proxy was a real good one, and Fargo was exceptional, and I had a soft spot for The Big Lebowski when it came out, but you're damn right--Oh Brother Where Art Thou was highly over-rated when it came out, but watching it after 10 or so years, without all that hype, I really enjoyed the film a whole lot better, especially George Clooney's acting in it. MAY ALL YOUR UPS AND DOWNS BE UNDER THE SHEETS
