About choosing the name of their daughter: I came up with it on the subway one day. It just fell from the sky and into my head. And I love, love the Roald Dahl book Matilda. I didnt think about it at the time, but then afterwards, I was like, Yeah, thats the girl I want: reads lots of books and makes things move with her eyes. Thatll be my daughter, for sure.

Michelle reveals that she and Heath do not use nannies, relying instead on family members to watch her when they must attend promotion for their movie.
"We really wanted to do everything ourselves, especially for this immediate time together...[life has become] a cycle of eating, washing, sleeping, cleaning. Now, for fun, I nap...I love being a young parent. It's me, the baby and the breast pump."
